On August 9, 1960 the Senior Classical League was formed by twenty "ambassadors" at the NJCL Convention held at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Since its founding, the SCL has acted as an outlet for engagement in the Classics community for those beyond their high school years. At the NJCL Convention, SCL has taken on the role of publishing the Convention Ear, managing Olympika and producing That's Entertainment. Learn more about the history of the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Indispensable SCL in our 50th Anniversary publication below.
